Aubergine

A co-worker commented on my shirt today saying how aubergine is her favorite color. Aubergine!  Isn't that just the fanciest way of saying purple? I can't stop saying it.... aubergine. I like how it rolls off my tongue. au-ber-gine.  Okay I will stop now.

Geez aren't I glad that you can't tell how hairy my legs are today and also that I can't walk in those silly shoes, they hurt my feets- they are just a tad bit too big but I am a firm believe in "beauty is pain" well at least I was a firm believer in that until yesterday, when I was flipping through the new issue of InStyle and stumbled on the most fabulous quote by designer Alber Elbaz.  Here it goes, are you ready?

Wasn't that just the best? I knooooow right. There is nothing better then eating chocolates.  This totally resonates with me.
